A mere 1000 bottles produced, from just four barrels of wine. A red like this comes around once a decade or so and Cathy Sisquelle got hers in the fall of 2015.
This is Mourvedre at its most stellar--inky, dark, and brooding--with a splash of Grenache and Syrah singing backup.
You might drink it upon arrival, but you might be well served guarding some for 5-10 years too.
This might be my favorite red wine tasted in the past year. I hate to use the word perfect, but what the hay...
