We want to keep this short and sweet. So here we go...

There is just no better deal going right now than this mixed 6-pack of reds and whites. These half dozen bottles are a slice of what we do at our very core--suss out and directly import delicous and affordable wines from small wineries in Europe.

And here's a chance to get some for your house...

The whites could go home with you and straight into the fridge, where they'll be ready to drink on a moment's notice. The reds all scream "Summertime!" and you shouldn't feel guilty to drink any one of them slightly chilled. No kidding.

The regular retail value on the wines is $86. But because we buy directly, and buy pretty big, this one is yours for just $75, or if you elect to "double down" (2 of each wine to make a mixed case), your price would be slightly better at $144.

Here's what you'd get:

Two From Spain:

  • A glorious white from Terra Remota called Ales Blanques, a kitchen sink white blend of Grenache Blanca, Chardonnay and a few other things. Great with overall picnic fare.
  • The newly arrived Rioja from Paco Garcia. "Seis" is aptly named, having spent 6 months in oak to give a little roundess to the oh-so juicy Tempranillo. Barbecue?

Two From France:

  • The pure Grenache Pays du Gard from La Devoy Martine has become one of our house favorites. At just $12 it is like, really, really juicy and delicious. They served us a grilled T-Bone at the winery with this wine on our last visit. It was good.
  • Domaine de la Camarette's Armonia Blanc is the best one can find in Rhone/Ventoux white wines. And again, at $12, this dry, lively white can't be beat with a tomato/mozzarella salad and some fresh basil.

Two from Italy

  • Poggio al Sole's Chiara uniquely combines Sangiovese (without skin contact) and Chardonnay into one of the more lovely Tuscan whites we've seen in a long time. All tank fermented and no stinking barrel means the wine is crisp and refreshing.
  • One hillside over we find the pure Sangiovese Rosso from Corzano e Paterno, a "baby" Chianti if you will. Aljoscha served us some on our last visit directly from tank, slightly cool. Um, red fruit salad?

Okay, so how do you get one? Easy. You can simply reply to this email with your request, "sixer", or "double down" or click the link above to order through our website.

The wines are all in stock and ready to go. I hope you'll dial one up and then come by to visit and taste wine with us real soon--maybe even this evening, any Friday, starting at 4pm! We'll be pouring some unique Spanish wines, including a really special vermut...
