Holiday Sparkling Wine Tasting

Please join us this Saturday for our annual bubbly party. Amalie and I will be on hand to pour the following lineup and spread some holiday cheer!

• Boccard Cerdon Bugey (ooooh, adult sparkling Hi-C)

Of course there will be other goodies open too--some new Italian reds, maybe a sweet wine, a little Champagne... Come one, come all! Tasting is FREE.

Elizabeth and I have organized four wine and food tours in 2018. The first is sold out, and we have some spots remaining for the following:

• May 22nd-June 1st: Loire Valley
• September 18th-28th: Northern Italy
• October 22nd-November 1st: Rhone, Provence and Languedoc

Groups will be small, just 8 travelers (plus us) to run around and see some of the off-the-beaten track stuff that you just won't find in any 'ol guidebook. We'll visit wineries of course, but also cool places like saltmakers, village markets, oyster farmers, dairies, and of course, bakeries! Mrs. Tart will do some some baking classes with you and there will also be plenty of time to explore on your own and/or get some quiet time.

And of course, there will be butter. Lots of butter.
