Hello Friends, 

What say we beat everyone to the punch and get tasting some sparkling wines this Friday? Was there not a bit of blue in the sky at least 5 minutes a day in the past week?  Did Dan not just order a whole mess of pink wine to get us through the summer heat? Are Easter and Passover just around the corner?

All these harbingers of Spring mean it is safe and prudent to kick off the season with first bubbly lineup, oui? Stop by this evening anytime between 4-6pm. The show.... drum roll please...

• Let's start with the Camarette Bulles Rose. Varietally built like a still rosé but in a methode traditionelle style. St.Tropez, here we come! 
• Next up is the Cosme Vouvray "Fine Bulles" with deep mineral nose and linear focus on the palate getting you ready for your first grilled asparagus of the season. Make mine with Bernaise, please. 
• Toby of Bainbridge and Cathcart still haunts us from the spectacular Valentine's evening dinner that Corkscru held at Tournant last month so let's open up his La Danseuse. Can't get enough of that sparkling Grolleau- dusty and floral all at once. 
• Lastly, the Rey Si's Plau is not quite a sparkling but just slightly petillant enough to put it along side the big boys.

To crown this event we will roll out some nice snackage to complete the evening. Tasting is free. Come one, come all! This evening from 4-6pm.

Ah.  Bring on the weekend...
